After former Oriole Al Bumbry and several other special guests cut the ceremonial ribbon at the Start Line, people and their dogs marched around the lake at Druid Hill Park.
Many thanks to the 250 volunteers who helped make the March for the Animals so successful!
If you have additional pledges that you would like to turn in, you can mail them to the SPCA at 3300 Falls Road, Baltimore, MD 21211.
All donations go directly to provide care, shelter, food, spay/neuter and medication to the animals in our adoption center.
Your donations enable us to operate our adoption center, which places more than 3,000 pets a year into loving homes.
With no government funding or money from national animal welfare organizations, The March for the Animals raises critical funds needed to care for the animals while they await their new homes.
